The house is of traditional Cycladic architecture located in a quiet neighbourhood inside the beautiful Lefkes village. All facilities are within walking distance. The ground floor can accommodate four persons and it consists of two bedrooms and a living room, a nice kitchen equipped with a normal fridge and an oven, a WC with a shower and a nice yard.
The artworks in the house are made by the visual artist Dimitra Bouritsa (all available in www.dimitrabouritsa.com)
Each floor can be booked separately, or both properties can be reserved together, accommodating up to 8 guests in total. To book the entire house, two separate reservations are required: one for Traditional Art House – Lefkes by MPS – Ground Floor and one for Traditional Art House in Lefkes by MPS – 1st Floor. The upper floor is accessed via an external staircase.
It is also worth mentioning that the ground floor is wheelchair accessible.
A grocery (mini market) is within three minutes walking distance from the house.
In the central square , 5 minutes away from the house, the visitor can find a traditional bakery, a pharmacy, a cosy bar, traditional taverns ,a pastry shop and a grill house.
Local products and vegetables can be bought from a greengrocer every Thursday and Saturday morning in the entrance of the traditional housing settlement. The village is mostly known for its charming picturesque atmosphere as it is very well preserved and the locals contribute to it peacefully and with care. It is a nice alternative for a calm stay for couples and families, as most beaches are accessible in 15 minutes drive.
However, if you don’t want to miss the uplifting side of the island, Naoussa and Paroikia are 15 minutes away from the village as well.
In case you want to spend the evening in the village, you can choose between cosy bars and restaurants in the central square,in the area of bus station, as well as beautiful traditional cafe-ouzeri in the Saint Trinity(‘Agia Triada’) square and in the traditional square.
In the open theatre near the forest, plenty of events are held during the summer, such as theatre plays and concerts.
